Kukita Crèche in Großhadern

At our Kukita Großhadern we offer a second home to 36 crèche children aged 10 months to three years. The main daily time starts at 8:30 h and ends at 12:30 h. There, we have three groups of 12 children each. Each group is headed by a certified nursery teacher or social education worker with the support of trained children's nurses and other paedagogical assistants.

We place great value on a sound teacher-to-child ratio, so that your child receives individual and personal care at all times. In this highly-sensitive development phase, education and upbringing are primarily based on bonds and relationships between children and caregivers.

Our daughter goes to Kukita Großhadern every morning beaming. This is the best confirmation that she feels comfortable and is in loving hands. The atmosphere is very familiar, trusting and extraordinarily warm. Thank you so much that we can go to work every day with a good feeling!

Our rates and childcare hours

Here you will find our booking times and the new prices from 01.09.2024. Parental contributions are also payable during closing times and when the child is absent. When signing the childcare contract, a registration fee of € 490 and a non-interest-bearing security deposit of € 1000 must be paid.  We grant a sibling discount of €40 for the first child. The daily core time starts at 8:30 am and ends at 12:30 pm.

The meal allowance includes a varied breakfast, lunch with starter or dessert, an afternoon snack and plenty of fruit in between.

Children from the surrounding communities are very welcome in our facility.

An application can be made to the »Wirtschaftlichen Jugendhilfe des Sozialreferates« (WJH) to have the parents' contributions paid. In individual cases, the amount of the costs (subsidy or full assumption of costs) that can be assumed by the WJH will be checked. The costs of childcare can be taken into account as special expenses for tax purposes - up to a maximum of €4,000 per child per year.

Economic Youth Welfare

An "Orientation calculator for the WJH" has been made available to provide guidance on possible financial support from the Economic Youth Welfare Department (WJH).

Exciting jobs at Kukita

Join our motivated and professional team. We offer exciting career opportunities for educators, childcare workers and interns at six locations.

The location, facilities & pedagogical orientation

The quiet location on the outskirts of the city offers an ideal environment with a good infrastructure, including playgrounds, an ice cream parlor and beautiful paths for walks. There is also a large garden for our crèche children to explore, play and run around in.

Our spacious and light-flooded group rooms are equipped with a variety of play materials, among other things. A large corridor invites children to run around and on the second floor there is a large room with a plateau, slide and ball pool. Each group has an adjoining sleeping area, which also ensures quiet rest periods.

Close communication and regular exchanges with parents are very important to us. Photo galleries on the tablet, information boards and personal discussions give you an insight into our educational work. We regularly celebrate festivals with parents, which are based on the annual cycle.

Our educational work focuses on closeness to life, the promotion of independence, participation and the individual care of each child according to their age. We promote the openness of the crèche groups through mutual visits and cooperation across group boundaries. We organize the "WOW - Entdeckerclub" for the children in their last year of crèche for cross-group activities.

Healthy diet

A balanced diet with fresh, healthy food is very important especially for young children. Therefore, the quality of the food we use and its preparation are near and dear to us. Learn more here

The team of Kukita Großhadern

Our educational staff are passionate about their job, lending a loving and sensitive ear to the little ones and their needs. This ensures that each child receives optimal support in his or her development and in forming his or her own personality.

We attach utmost importance to specialised advanced training and good communication among the team on a regular basis: only thus can the quality of care at Kukita be kept at a high level or even improved.

We decided on Kukita Großhadern very quickly and it has proven to be spot on. This first year our child has enjoyed going to the facility, has made new friends and has become very fond of the educators. I am very happy and relaxed that during our absence he is supported in his development and is in good hands. The interaction with us parents is also very familiar and the staff approaches us openly. I like that because I can trust them and our son is in good hands. Here's to another year full of adventures and beautiful moments. Thank you!
